The Seachem Alert Combo pack combines Ammonia Alert (1 card) and pH Alert (1 card). By comparison, Ammonia Alert and pH Alert are almost half the size of competing products. Even more, at 1.5″ x 2.5″, they are small, clear, and unobtrusive. Furthermore, they won’t detract from the view of your aquarium. Hence, simply place Ammonia Alert and pH Alert visibly anywhere in the aquarium or filter. It’s that easy. No tests, no strips
Ammonia Alert
Seachem Ammonia Alert is an innovative colour device for continuously detecting and monitoring toxic free ammonia. To illustrate a sensor changes reversibly from yellow to green to blue, relative to the ammonia concentration. No test kits, chemicals, or procedures are needed. As soon as Seachem Ammonia Alert detects less than 0.05 mg/L (ppm) of free ammonia it will alert you to the #1 killer before any sign of stress. In the long run, lasting over a year. Seachem Ammonia Alert is not recommended for use with acid pH. Marine or freshwater use.

pH Alert
Seachem pH Alert is a colour-changing device. Designed to be placed in the aquarium or filter and monitor pH continuously. Thereupon, a sensor changes colour reversibly from yellow to orange to red alerting you to shifts in pH levels between 5.4 and 8.0. When first put in service, pH Alert response time will be about 30 minutes. Thereafter, pH shifts will register within ten minutes. Freshwater use only.

Yes, yes and yes to this. The amonia alert has saved me from a tank crash when I had an amonia spike due to a dead fish that was hidden away from sight in a planted tank. My rule is to have these in any tank with fish. I use the ph alert in my shrimp tanks, and was useful in monitoring and seeing I have a problem in one of my shrimp tanks, so I was able to make changes before loosing any shrimp. Absolutely worth the investment.

Love this product. Completely blown by the simplicity. No need to use expensive ammonia test kits or pH test kits. These tags give you accurate ammonia and pH levels. I ran some chemical tests just to be sure after a week of using it. I can say it is accurate indeed. The ammonia test tag lasts a year and the pH test tag lasts only upto 6 months. It would make sense for Seachem to sell the combo pack with 1 ammonia alert tag and 2 or 3 ph tags.
