Up Aqua – Pleco Cave
Plecos need hiding spots throughout the tank where they can stay during the day because they’re nocturnal. Hiding spots can be created using all sorts of aquarium decorations like caves, tunnels, dark pipes, wood, and artificial plants.
Once the male Pleco has chosen a “cave” to breed in, it will meticulously clean the sides and attempt to attract the female into the cave. If the female is enticed in by the male, she will deposit eggs on the side of the cave, and the male will then set about guarding the eggs until they hatch.

A super addition to my tank. The granite colouration ensures that it blends in well. These are well-made, solid and will, no doubt, be home to many generations of plecos in the future!

Great pleco cave, my pleco’s love it. The grey granite texture/colour integrates well with my aquascape.

I like the marble look of the cave! My male bristlenose moved right in! Just add moss on top and it looks nice.
