Description
Kribensis (Pelvicachromis pulcher)
Kribensis (Pelvicachromis pulcher) is a very good fish for community fish tanks. They are peaceful and shy except when they spawn. If they spawn, they will defend their brood fiercely. You can feed them Hikari Micro Wafers or Dennerle Complete Gourmet Menu.
*Please note: For the safety of the livestock, we only ship livestock Monday – Wednesday. Please plan accordingly. We mainly sell juvenile livestock, but adults will be sent if available. We also do not sex livestock for any client, we will send a mix if available (this is to make it fair for everybody). This is company policy. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY RECEIVING ONLY MALES OR ONLY FEMALES OR JUVENILE FISH.

Recommended for the general community tank, but do note that the fish become very territorial when breeding. Do not keep with very vigorous or large species as this is generally a shy and retiring fish. Good tankmates include small characins, barbs, danios, rasboras, Corydoras, gouramis and Loricariids. It can be kept with other cichlids (West African Dwarves being the ideal) but enough space must be provided for territory formation. It should be kept in pairs and a large tank is required if more than one pair is to be kept.
McMerwe comments: Very nice for a larger community tank. [Rating: 4/5].

Beautiful colours. He is a bit shy and hides away in the beginning but once his comfortable with this surroundings he shows so much personality
