a VERY underrated soil, I don’t know why more aquascapers don’t use it. I love it. I just put some crush lava rock base, root tabs & this soil… and I grow the most demanding competition level plants in it. Very good product. My GH & KH readings stay in optimal ranges as well, which indicates very good buffering capacity as well. The soil is also not extremely nutrient dense, which relies a bit more on you for dosing but light on maintenance, which is great if you cannot change 50% water every week.

This soil is perfect for my tank. It is suitable for all the shrimp , plants and tetras currently in my tank and I think it will make a big difference in the quality of our tank overall
