    I replaced a old C700 with a C1000. The baskets that now clip together into a single stack is a good improvement. It would have been better to include a handle on each basket like in the past to make rinsing of loose biological media in those baskets now without handles easier. Overall the DoPhin C series is great filters and excellent value.

    Using this on my 60H (96L) heavily stocked and planted tank. The filter is super quiet (have this in my bedroom). Super easy to setup, used Seachem Matrix media, and my plants and fish have thrived since moving to this filter type.

    Here’s the best part, when I walked into McMerwe i was interested in a high-end HOB filter…but had to be whisper quiet, after rambling on to Jacques about options and my setup he recommended this option to me, and I could not be happier!
