Horizon Labs Marcgravia Umbellata

Horizon Labs Marcgravia Umbellata is a striking climbing plant prized for its unique leaf shape and vigorous, fast-growing nature. With glossy, emerald green foliage that develops interesting patterns as it matures, this species adds a bold, tropical flair to terrariums, paludariums, and humid indoor gardens. Its natural climbing habit makes it perfect for mounting on wood, cork, or rock, where it can trail and weave to create depth and visual interest in your display.

lanting Instructions for Horizon Labs Marcgravia umbellata:
Carefully remove the plant from its container and gently loosen the roots.
Rinse lightly with clean, dechlorinated water to remove any residual substrate if needed.
This plant is best mounted or planted at the base of hardscape such as cork bark, driftwood, or rock, allowing it to climb naturally.
Secure the plant in place using soft plant ties, fishing line, or moss until it attaches on its own.
Avoid burying the stem deeply, as Marcgravia prefers its roots exposed or lightly covered.

Establishment & Care Process:
Marcgravia umbellata is already adapted to humid, terrestrial conditions and does not require an emersed transition.
Maintain high humidity to encourage strong attachment and compact leaf growth.
Provide bright, indirect lighting; avoid harsh direct light which can scorch the leaves.
Keep the roots consistently moist but not waterlogged.
Good airflow is important to prevent fungal issues in enclosed terrariums.
Minimal fertilization is needed—occasional misting with a diluted foliar fertilizer is sufficient.
Growth may be slow at first, but once established, the plant will begin to climb and spread naturally.

 Parameters:
Temperature: 18–27 °C
Humidity: 60-90%
