Sobo Aquarium Mist or Fog Maker
Sobo Aquarium Mist or Fog Maker is uses ultrasonic atomizing technology to create an ultra fine mist or fog without actual evaporation taking place. This makes it a great tool to use inside an aeroponic type cloner or to increase humidity in an enclosed space.
Solutions with very high or very low pH values should be avoided, as this most cause corrosion. The atomizing film should be kept clean and often be washed to maintain maximum fogging capacity.
Cautions for use
The spray head should be flat (upright), the water surface should keep more 5-10MM higher than the prominent water level probe, which can not be too high. Otherwise it can not have fog or less fog than what is should have. When the water level is below the probe, the atomizer will automatically go into protection mode and stop to spray.
The atomizing film should be often washed and and kept clean, otherwise it will not spray or the fog will be small. If the fog is still limited / small after you cleaned the atomizer film, it should be replaced.
Do not put the spray in the water with high concentration acid and high alkali to avoid the spray head being corroded.

Love this but think it works best in bigger tanks.

I wouldn’t particularly recommend this to anyone with an ordinary aquascape. Unless you have a piece of hardscape that can cover the device, it will splash water all over the tank and get droplets on your light. If you reduce the amount of water it spouts, the amount of mist produced also decreases a lot. The plastic ring that it comes with does not really work to cover it and is an eyesore in the scape. It would probably work well in a terrarium or vivarium, but not so much in a tank. The lights on it are also not very visually appealing or natural.
