Scape Liquid Carbon is firstly there to supply the aquarium plants an alternative carbon source to injected CO2.

Scape distributors always recommend injecting CO2 into the aquarium. However, we know that it is not always the easiest or most affordable method of supplying Carbon to the aquarium. Scape Liquid Carbon will supply  Carbon to the aquarium plants when you dose the right amount. In other words, dose 1 squirt (approximately 1ml) per 50L of aquarium water.

Scape Carbon also has the added advantage of suppressing algae growth. This product will therefore kill Black Beard Algae on contact. It will further kill various other types of nuisance algae such as thread algae, hair algae, dust algae and staghorn algae.

    Works well for Algea control, but long run co2 is a better option. If you dose without running water, it will kill the plants where is was dosed if there is no movement within 5 minutes.
