I had three shipped to me. Arrived about an inch long and silver. No sign of colour. I started wondering after a month or two if i perhaps had ones that were just not “rainbow”. But in the last few days i am seeing the speckles showing and the hint of rainbow colours creeping in. So I guess just happens as they mature. They were also quite skittish to start, hiding behind my filter inlet or wood but also in last week or two are now front and foremost in the tank. Mid to upper section and bout 9cm long now. Not shy at all anymore. I believe they are responsible for the total lack of shrimp in my tank. My ignorance in compatibility clear as day. They get on fine with my silver dollars, corys, rams, loaces, guppies, danios and a handful of other breeds in my tank. Prettiest fish I have says my wife.

Beautiful fish. Their colours are vibrant and so eye-catching. Clearly healthy and well cared for.
