Advanced Multilux LED Lighting
All Rio models come equipped with Juwel’s MultiLux LED lighting system, delivering brilliant luminosity and promoting vibrant plant growth. The system uses replaceable DAY and NATURE LED tubes to produce a balanced light spectrum, enhancing the natural beauty of your fish and plants. Multilux LEDs are up to 50% more energy-efficient than traditional T5 lighting. Designed with convenience in mind, the light unit is ultrasound-sealed, 100% waterproof, and meets strict European safety standards — so you can perform maintenance with the lights on, worry-free.

Integrated Bioflow Filtration System
At the heart of every Rio aquarium is Juwel’s Bioflow internal filter system — a powerful, safe, and maintenance-friendly solution. The Bioflow M (or L in larger models) comes complete with five layers of high-performance filter media and a quiet, energy-efficient Eccoflow circulation pump. The “water stays in the tank” principle ensures maximum filtration safety with no risk of leaks.

Precision Heating with Built-In Heater
Each Rio aquarium includes a JUWEL adjustable heater, built directly into the filter’s water circulation for even temperature distribution. Made with shock-proof borosilicate glass and high-quality silver contacts, this 100W to 300W (depending on tank size) heater is TÜV/GS certified and engineered to provide reliable temperature control in any environment.
