I’m very happy with these little bio balls. They also fit really well in the Qanvee – Bio-sponge Filter… buy 2 packs though, one is not enough for the filter.

Looks like a high-quality and decent type of bio-media, more effective in my opinion than ceramic rings and/or any plastic bio-balls. Just make sure you buy enough, it takes a few 150ml bags to fill an average HOB filter.
