*Please note: For the safety of the livestock, we only ship livestock Monday – Wednesday. Please plan accordingly. We mainly sell juvenile livestock, but adults will be sent if available. We also do not sex livestock for any client, we will send a mix if available (this is to make it fair for everybody). This is company policy. Most fish in store looked good, but some definitely showed stress colours. Mine look good now though

I had ordered 6 of these girls to start a sorority tank, i had high hopes as i have ordered multiple times from McMerwe before and had only one fish pass and the others thrive and arrive safely. My experience was horrible. The parcel arrives and i open the box to see that ALL 6 of the girls are in the same bag, torn up fins, scales gone, sick, lethargic and dull in color with major stress stripes. I was stunned. For a company I presume ships hundreds of fish a month this was awful. I acclimated the poor girls and are now treating them. I was heartbroken, i contacted the company and have only issued me a refund for ONE of the girls due to the fact that she ‘looked the worst’. Very disappointed
