Black Ghost Knife Fish or Apteronotus albifrons
Black Ghost Knife Fish are mysterious, elegant swimmers known for their smooth, ribbon-like bodies and graceful, undulating motion. Gliding silently through the water, they bring a sense of intrigue to larger, dimly lit aquariums. Intelligent and nocturnal, these fish form fascinating habits and can even learn to recognize their keepers. Best kept in peaceful communities, they add a unique, almost supernatural presence to any tank.
We feed our Black Ghost Knife Fish or Apteronotus albifrons Hikari Micro Wafers, but Dennerle Discus Soft Granules is a great food for these guys.
*Please note: For the safety of the livestock, we only ship livestock Monday – Wednesday. Please plan accordingly. We mainly sell juvenile livestock, but adults will be sent if available. We also do not sex livestock for any client, we will send a mix if available (this is to make it fair for everybody). This is company policy. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY RECEIVING ONLY MALES OR ONLY FEMALES OR JUVENILE FISH.
