Description
Anubias barteri var. nana ‘Pangolino’
- One of the smallest leaved Anubias forms
- New cultivar, still very rare
- Very compact growth habit
- Narrow leaf shape
- First-class epiphyte for nano tanks
Description
This is a new, particularly beautiful Anubias cultivar, selected in the nursery Dennerle (Germany) from stands of the Bonsai Anubias. Massimo Iannella tested the plant in submerged and emersed culture for a long time and gave it the cultivar name ‘Pangolino’. This plant is one of the Anubias forms with the smallest leaves at all and still a great rarity. Its growth habit is so compact that its leaves overlap each other, resembling the scales of the pangolin (scaly anteater).
The Pangolin Anubias is a first-class epiphyte for the hardscape of small and nano tanks. It is as robust and undemanding as other forms of Anubias barteri var. nana.

Verified owner Hayden Poulter (verified owner) –
Plants arrived very healthy. I was able to create two plants by cutting the rhizome in half. Looking forward to watching them settle in
