GlasGarten Bacter AE

GlasGarten Bacter AE Micro Powder adds important microorganisms, amino acids and enzymes to your aquarium. All of this enhances enhances the  water quality. It also improves the development of biofilms, which are essential for shrimp. The created biofilms provide shrimp with a valuable staple food rich in beneficial proteins, especially improving the survival rate of young shrimplets. In addition, live probiotic bacteria improve the nutrient uptake of shrimp and influence their digestive processes in a positive way. The contained bacteria in GlasGarten Bacter AE Micro Powder cultures activates as soon as they come into contact with water. They remove toxic substances and, together with all the other carefully fine-tuned components, they provide your aquarium with a good microclimate.

Ingredients:

Amino acids. Polysaccarides. Xylanase. Glucanase. Amylase. Protease. Hemicellulase. Bacillus subtilis. Pediococcus acidilactici (Lactobacillus).

Feeding recommendation:

During first use, add only half the dosage during the first week

McMerwe’s comment: First of all, Bacter AE is available in a 35g or 70g container. You can sprinkle the powder directly in your aquarium with the provided measuring spoon, neatly placed in its own space between the powder and the lid. In other words, you will never loose your spoon in the powder nor will you forget where you placed it. The measuring spoon is also the perfect size for the right amount of feeding. We are using Bacter AE in all our tanks because it is the best biofilm builder on the market. Biofilm is what babies and adult shrimp feed on. The lack of biofilm in new tanks is one of the main reasons for dead shrimp. Nevertheless, Bacter AE helps to increase the survival rate of the shrimp. However, it is important to note that Bacter AE is a supplementary food and not a complete food like Shrimp King Complete or GlasGarten Dinner Pads. [Rating 5/5]

    Added this to a new tank for shrimp, have stared to feel the film grow after a week or so, I am putting very small dosages in at he moment but very happy with the purchase. McMerwe is the only place I have found that sells this product and if you looking for a fantastic service to back it, then this is the place to get it.
