Seachem Garlic Guard
Seachem Garlic Guard is a garlic-scented odour and flavour enhancer for freshwater and saltwater fish. Moreover, it is all-natural. According to research, natural odours, such as garlic attracts many fish. Simply mix Seachem Garlic Guard with any food item, such as Seachem’s NutriDiet Flakes. Very useful in particular to attract the interest of finicky eaters, e.g. discus and marine angelfish. Seachem Garlic Guard is safe for reef and planted aquariums.
Directions:
Shake well before use. Soak food in Seachem Garlic Guard before feeding. Safe for use with medicated foods (to attract the interest of finicky eaters to the medicated food). For example, for enhanced effectiveness against Ich and other parasites use Seachem’s Focus and MetroPlex as follows: Add 1 measure of MetroPlex to 1 measure of Focus per tablespoon of food. Completely soak this food mix in Garlic Guard, refrigerate, and feed once or twice daily for 1–2 weeks.
Ingredients:
water, spirulina (Spirulina platensis), chlorella (Chlorella pyrenoidosa), phosphoric acid, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, ascorbic acid, ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, zinc sulfate heptahydrate, copper sulfate pentahydrate, manganese sulfate, potassium iodide.

Nutritional Additives per litre:
Vit. C 520 mg, E1 iron 30mg, E6 zinc 15mg, E2 iodide 4mg, E4 copper 3mg, E5 manganese 2mg, E8 selenium 368ug.

We used this in our marine tank to entice a new fish to eat. It worked fairly okay but I’m not sure I would buy this product again in the future, we felt we had better success with a home made garlic extract, however, there might have been other reasons for the fish not eating when using this product.
