Description

Nature Boys Africa Cholla Wood

Nature Boys Africa Cholla Wood is a 100% natural, aquarium-safe wood designed to enhance both the aesthetics and health of freshwater and shrimp tanks. Known for its porous structure, Cholla wood provides an ideal surface for biofilm growth, giving shrimp, snails, and fry a nutritious grazing area. Its hollow stems also create shelter and hiding spots, reducing stress and encouraging natural behavior in aquarium inhabitants.

Beyond its functional benefits, Nature Boys Africa Cholla Wood slowly releases tannins into the water, helping to soften and slightly acidify the aquarium water, creating conditions similar to the natural habitats of many tropical fish and shrimp. Its unique cylindrical shape adds a natural, rustic look to planted tanks, shrimp setups, and aquascapes.

shrimp love hiding in these and makes for a great decoration.

Nature Boys Africa Cholla Fingers creates a good biofilm for fish and shrimp. It does take a while to completely sink, but it’s to be expected with any wood-type product in your aquarium. will buy again!

Absolutely brilliant, my shrimp went right for them, they love grazing and keeping safe inside them. Will definitely be getting more! (my only frustration ilwas they take long to water log😂 especially the bigger one, but it’s definitely not a problem, I’m just impatient) love them!

  7. Verified owner Sarah Holland (verified owner)

These are a must for a shrimp tank, they love them and they look amazing in the tank.

Perfect hiding spot for shrimp and snails. And can be used to make cool features in small tanks

  9. Verified owner Willan Adonis (verified owner)

Shrimp love the cholla. I cut my 50g piece through the center to have two pieces that lie flat on the substrate – still leaving the arch for shrimp to hide.

Looks great in the tank, Corys seem to like it more than my shrimp

Ordered the 35-50g, shrimp and panda corys like to hide inside.

A fantastic natural tunnel that I have no doubt that shrimp love. For quick reference my “80g-100g piece is 12cm long and around 5,5cm across. The 100g-150g is 12cm long and also around 5,5cm across but less of a hollow tunnel. Will definitely get more.

An absolute must in all of my tanks, especially those homing shrimp, but even my ancistrus, otocinclus and whiptails love hanging out on them.

Ek het die keer well n groter n n kleiner een gevat….kleiner een is makliker on te sink en ek hou van die feit dat mens plantjies daarop kan sit…behalwe dat die shrimp daarvan hou het dit n biofilm laag op wat hulle ook van hou…

Maak mense se shrimp tenk…lyk soos n shrimp huise…Beveel aan as jy iets anders as net plante in jou tenk soek
