Hikari Ich X

Hikari Ich X is a proven and reliable treatment for freshwater and marine fish, designed to combat protozoan parasites such as Ichthyophthirius (freshwater ich) and Cryptocaryon (marine ich), as well as various fungal infections. Its formulation uses a safer, more effective form of malachite green, making it suitable even for scaleless fish.

Dosage & Use:

• Aquariums: Add 5 mL per 38 L of water.

• Ponds: Add 5 mL per 189 L of water. One 29 mL dose treats 1,135 L.

• Always treat in a quarantine/treatment aquarium where possible.

• Remove activated carbon before dosing.

• Perform at least a 33% water change before each new dose.

• Repeat treatment every 24 hours (up to every 8 hours depending on severity). Continue for 3 days after all visible signs of disease disappear.

Important Notes:

• Do not overdose – always calculate true water volume, subtracting displacement from substrate and decorations.

• Do not mix with other medications or use with sulfinate- or sulfoxylate-based conditioners.

• Product may stain silicone, rocks, plastics, or décor.

• Not suitable for some invertebrates (e.g., filter feeders) – observe carefully if present.

• Do not allow product to freeze – if crystals or clumps are visible, discard.

• For aquarium and pond use only. Not for human, veterinary, or food use.
